It's time to get back to my series of posts about the PLL fashion and today is Spencer's turn.She has a modern preppy, classic style.Spencer combines menswear-inspired pieces with feminine items.Her style is rather classic but she incorporates in her look modern preppy items like oxfords, plaid, loafers, nautical, stripes.She loves to layer with cardigans, blazers and combine different textures in her looks.When it comes to colors she prefers neutral tones like brown, beige, cognac, navy blue.If you want to steal her menswear-inspired, yet feminine style you could wear boyfriend jeans, a shirt and a blazer or pair a printed dress with a menswear-inspired blazer with ladylike tights and leather flat oxfords.Her everyday look is simple, but when it comes to parties Spencer goes for glam, but without betraying her style.She looks elegant, lady-like and polished with classic jewelry.
I don't like the phase that she's going through right now and I hope that she'll get out of Radley soon.I miss the old Spender.

Spring is here!

Yesterday I did not have the time to post the usual celebrity inspired outfit, but I came today with an outfit post.Well, not exactly an outfit post, I'm not dressed fancy.I only went for a walk in the park because the weather looks better everyday.But although it was sunny, the wind was blowing like crazy and I hardly managed to take some shots.

And I also changed my blonde/brown ombre to a red one.It's not really noticeable in photos, but I like how it looks.

 And this is my new red ombre from the back.

PLL fashion - Emily

Earlier this week I started talking about PLL fashion.I made a first post about Aria's fashion choices and now is Emily's turn.Her style is more laid-back and comfortable showing her active lifestyle.She wears simple clothes with clean lines and loves to layer.Emily's style is fresh and lively, sporting bright colors, stripes, denim skirts, distressed jeans, cargo pants, off the shoulder tops, hoodies and t-shirts.She sticks to neutral tones mostly, but she does wear bright tops.Her shoes are always comfortable, she usually wears flats or sneakers and as for the accessories she wears oversized bags.As for the jewelry, she's not to flashy, wearing simple yet feminine items like small hoop earrings or silver necklaces.If you like her style and want to adopt it then wear a loose t-shirt with a mini denim skirt or skinny jeans or layer an oversized cardigan over a tight v-neck t-shirt.

Happy Martisor Day!

Today we are celebrating the official coming of spring and also a romanian tradition called Martisor.From ancient times people were celebrating the coming of spring with rituals that are now forgotten.But we still have a tradition that lasted until present day: offering a small gift that has attached a white and red string.Girls are the ones that receive them and wear them during the whole month or at least in the first day of March.Giving these martisoare is a gesture of friendship, love and respect.The two colors combined together (white and red) are the main characteristic of this tradition.Red simbolizes youth,wealth, beauty and is asociated with the coming of spring,birth and marriage while white is asociated with purity.

PLL fashion - Aria

Aria has a unique, edgy, bohemian style.She combines vintage with boho creating outfits full of originality, some of the pieces actually look like they are made by her.Her style balances a soft look with a rebellious part (she wears skirts and dresses with leather jackets or biker boots).She tends to wear lots of layers, combine different textures and fabrics.We see her very often wearing tights, thigh-highs, knee socks - they are actually great for transitioning from summer to fall.Wear your summer dress with knee socks or tights, biker boots and a leather jacket for a chic autumn look!

If you like Aria's style and want to embrace it then think outside the box and be original!
