PLL fashion - Hanna

Hanna is my favorite character talking about style. She loves to stand out and that is shown by her clothes and accessories. Her style is feminine, glamorous and trendy.Hanna's looks are chic and trendy combining flirty ruffled dresses with a leather jacket for example.A good trick to learn from her style is to define your waist.Hanna often wears a belt over a blazer or cardigan when layering or over a loose dress in order to define her waist.
The key pieces in her wardrobe are: flirty colored dresses, heels, silk flowy tops, trendy statement jewelry, florals.Talking about jewelry the girl's not shy when accessorizing her outfits. She goes for statement pieces like big cocktail rings, layering necklaces or big hoop earrings. Her outfits are always well put-together and look very polished because for her the hallway is a runway. If you want to dress like Hanna wear lots of bright, feminine pieces and definitely heels.
Colors:  brights and pastels
Accessories: statement jewelry
Shoes: heels, even wedges

PLL fashion - Spencer

It's time to get back to my series of posts about the PLL fashion and today is Spencer's turn. She has a modern preppy, classic style.Spencer combines menswear-inspired pieces with feminine items. Her style is rather classic but she incorporates in her look modern preppy items like oxfords, plaid, loafers, nautical, stripes. She loves to layer with cardigans, blazers and combine different textures in her looks. When it comes to colors she prefers neutral tones like brown, beige, cognac, navy blue.If you want to steal her menswear-inspired, yet feminine style you could wear boyfriend jeans, a shirt and a blazer or pair a printed dress with a menswear-inspired blazer with ladylike tights and leather flat oxfords. Her everyday look is simple, but when it comes to parties Spencer goes for glam, but without betraying her style. She looks elegant, lady-like and polished with classic jewelry.
I don't like the phase that she's going through right now and I hope that she'll get out of Radley soon.I miss the old Spender.

PLL fashion - Emily

Earlier this week I started talking about PLL fashion.I made a first post about Aria's fashion choices and now is Emily's turn. Her style is more laid-back and comfortable showing her active lifestyle. She wears simple clothes with clean lines and loves to layer.Emily's style is fresh and lively, sporting bright colors, stripes, denim skirts, distressed jeans, cargo pants, off the shoulder tops, hoodies and t-shirts.She sticks to neutral tones mostly, but she does wear bright tops. Her shoes are always comfortable, she usually wears flats or sneakers and as for the accessories she wears oversized bags.As for the jewelry, she's not to flashy, wearing simple yet feminine items like small hoop earrings or silver necklaces. If you like her style and want to adopt it then wear a loose t-shirt with a mini denim skirt or skinny jeans or layer an oversized cardigan over a tight v-neck t-shirt.
Colors: white and blue
Shoes: sneakers
Accessories: silver necklace
Signature item: short denim skirt

PLL fashion - Aria

Aria has a unique, edgy, bohemian style. She combines vintage with boho creating outfits full of originality, some of the pieces actually look like they are made by her.Her style balances a soft look with a rebellious part (she wears skirts and dresses with leather jackets or biker boots). She tends to wear lots of layers, combine different textures and fabrics. We see her very often wearing tights, thigh-highs, knee socks - they are actually great for transitioning from summer to fall.Wear your summer dress with knee socks or tights, biker boots and a leather jacket for a chic autumn look!
If you like Aria's style and want to embrace it then think outside the box and be original!
Colors: black, brown, plum, aubergine
Accessories: feather earrings
Shoes: combat boots, knee high boots
Signature items: leather jacket, and legwear: socks, tights

Here is an outfit idea inspired by Aria's style.Hope you like it!

PLL fashion

Since Gossip Girl ended last December I needed a new series in which fashion played a big part. So, thanks to a friend I found Pretty Little Liars and not only they have fashionable clothes, they are also accessible too. What I love most about this series is that the outfits are easy to recreate.
I bet that everyone knows the story about the four pretty little liars and how they lie in order to find the truth so I'm gonna talk about the fashion part now. What is great about these four characters is that they have different styles that sets them apart.Hanna is feminine and glamorous, Aria combines vintage with a bit of boho, Spencer prefers classic pieces, even menswear inspired looks and Emily is the athletic one wearing more casual clothes.

The Carrie Diaries

Hey, girls!Sorry for the absence, but if you follow my blog with Facebook you already know that I was feeling quite sick this week and that's why the lack of posts.I really wanted this year to post more often that I used to and I'm back online now.
I know, I come quite late with my post as the first episode of The Carrie Diaries aired last week, but I've just seen it.I won't be telling you what the story is about in case you haven't seen it and want to watch it.As Gossip girl ended last December, this series is supposed to be it's replacement. If it will succeed or not, we'll see.Talking about the fashion part, I must admit that in the beginning my first reaction was : "oh, those clothes are ugly!", but hey, it's the 80's.On the other hand, I loved how creative Carrie was when transforming her mom's bag.I wanted to do something like that, but I was afraid to ruin it.Well, maybe now I'll dare to do it.

What do you think about it?Are you going to watch it?What are your favorite Tv series?
