Jewelry can really transform your entire outfit and buying a statement piece is a good investition that will last you long time. If years ago I was crazy about earrings and you could never see me without them, now I believe that the best way to accessorize an outfit is by adding a necklace. And most of the times that's the only piece of jewelry you'll need to wear as it already makes a statement with his design. When the trend of wearing statement pieces (whether is a necklace, a bracelet or a ring) became more popular I was kind of scared to adopt it because I did not know how to wear it. But the rules are simple if you want a nice, clean outfit:
- big, chunky necklaces look best with simple outfits to emphasize the beauty of the jewelry
- don't go over the top with the other accessories
- avoid wearing statement necklace and earrings in the same time, instead add a ring (or even better, keep only the necklace).
